Do you know about the powers of superfruits? These fruits are particularly rich in minerals, fiber, vitamins and antioxidants. Widespread all over the world, superfruits are distinguished by their ORAC value or "Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity", a value that differentiates them from "normal" fruits. With exotic names often unfamiliar to the public, they hail from sunny and humid regions such as Brazil, the Caribbean and China. Thanks to the favorable climate, they are rich in vitamins (A, C and E) and minerals and have a high antioxidant content (flavonoids, tannins and other polyphenols, vitamin C). The three superfruits below - which are some of the most famous - will add a touch of exotic flavor to your summer meals:

Goji berries: Hailing all the way from China and Mongolia, Goji berries are loaded in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. They have detoxifying properties and will boost your energy, immune system and stamina. They also stimulate the secretion of "youth hormones" that have many virtues such as improved sleep, better memory, and fat loss.

Acerola: This South American superfood is one of the best sources of Vitamin C (containing 20x more than oranges!). It also contains beta-carotene, minerals and bioflavonoids. This superfruit is an antioxidant, an extremely effective rejuvenator, and has anti-inflammatory properties to quickly increase the body's resistance.

Guarana: Known for its caffeine power, Guarana provides energy and improves alertness. Guaranine is also an excellent natural appetite suppressant that helps burn unwanted fat.
