Men, how to look great after celebrating non-stop over the holidays

If your face is looking the worse for wear, follow our tips to help refresh and energize your skin.

Even if you’re not a party animal, we’re almost certain you got caught up in the festivities over the holiday season and took full advantage of the parties. Now that the season’s over, it’s time to spend a little more time caring for your skin. We know it’s probably not at the top of your list of things you want to do, but you’ll thank us later! And don’t worry, we’re not talking about a major time investment, but an extra five minutes a day doing the following four things:

Apply an anti-fatigue cream

Your skin is tired right now, so it needs caffeine to wake up, just like when your body craves its morning cup of coffee, or energy drink. After a thorough cleansing, Biotherm’s Total Recharge Care moisturizer will revitalize your skin and make it look like you got more sleep than you actually did over the holiday season.

Apply eye serum

By now you should already have eye serum in your bathroom cabinet (we know you read our article on the products every man should have in his bathroom!). But if for some reason you don’t, it’s time to invest in one to wake your eyes up and erase those pesky eye circles. We recommend Force Supreme Eye Architect Serum, as it penetrates really quickly (time is precious!), and will reduce the appearance of any fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area. Just one swipe under the eye and you’re done!

Load up on fruits and vegetables

You know that female colleague of yours that always brings that weird-looking smoothie with her to work? It’s not just a prop to include in her Instagram photos. Fruits and vegetables are rich in antioxidants help fight free radicals, annoying molecules that try to attack your skin and give you wrinkles. After the holidays your skin needs as much protection as it can get, so start blending up a few smoothies of your own!

Get some rest

Okay so sleeping takes more than a few minutes to do every day, but we doubt you’ll start complaining about us telling you to get more rest! Sleep is essential to help repair and reenergize your skin, so get at least 8 hours of sleep a night after the holidays (that new show on Netflix can wait until your next weekend binge). However, if you really want to give your skin a winning advantage, don’t forget to wash your face with cleanser and apply face cream before hitting the sack.

Follow our advice, and you’ll whip your skin back into shape to arrive at the office with a fresh face after the holidays!
