These are the best water sports to try this summer
They will all give you a great workout for your best beach body ever.
Sun bathing and beach volleyball are two popular summer pastimes, but water sports shouldn’t be overlooked. No matter if you’re a guy, a girl, beginner, or advanced, try your hand at one of these three water sports.
Stand up paddling
Stand up paddling (SUP) may not be new, but it’s still a great workout no matter what your fitness level is. SUP is a cross between surfing and kayaking. It will seriously tone up your core muscles and improve your balance. Beginners should try it in a lake or river where the water is calmer. Intermediate to advanced levels can challenge themselves by attempting to do it in a body of water that has some waves, like the sea.
You might think that kayaking is “easy,” but it’s actually great exercise for your upper body. Something called extreme kayaking also exists, but we recommend that you leave that to the pros. Those people are real risk takers, like you can see in the video below.
